The CPD staff takes pride in providing the best outdoor recreational experience possible to our users. The number one way that we strive in doing so is by making safety our highest priority. Having safe parks is conducive to providing a welcoming atmosphere for all to feel secure while enjoying themselves in the parks. We strive to do this by making sure to provide the safest and most accessible trails possible, clearly marking trails to assist users with navigation, providing clean and up to date facilities, among many others. 

You can help CPD staff maintain safe and clean park environments by doing your part to pack out what you pack in and following designated park rules. You can find CPD park rules located at the welcome kiosk at each park. You can also find a link to CPD rules here.

You can contact CPD through this simple survey form to alert staff of any issues such as downed trees, trail erosion, trail wash outs, vandalism, poaching, etc.
