Adopt an Animal

The Crawford Park District is dedicated to promoting conservation and preservation through education.  To reach that goal, many reptiles and amphibians are on display and are utilized in our programming.  School groups and individuals who wish to help in the care for these animals can do so through our Adopt-an-Animal program.  The cost for an adoption is $35 and includes:

  • a certificate of adoption
  • a color photo of their adopted animal
  • 2 personalized letters from the animal
  • a visit from/with the adopted animal

All adoptions are valid for a one-year period and can be renewed annually. All adopted animals remain in the care and custody of the Crawford Park District, but we hope you will visit them. No ownership rights are conferred by sponsoring an animal.
