The two prairie gardens in

Unger Park showcase native

wildflowers and grasses. These

plants work well in landscaping

and benefit local wildlife such as

butterflies. Seeds can be purchased

at the Lowe-Volk Park Nature

Center for local native wildflowers.

Using these plants in landscaping

helps to preserve native plants that

have become rare in our area.
