| The Friends of the Crawford Park District are planning for the long-term by building an endowment fund to benefit the parks. The principal of the fund will be invested, with only the income from the fund utilized to benefit the parks. The purpose of the endowment fund will be to assist the Crawford Park District in acquiring, improving, or maintaining capital assets including land and buildings. Forms of giving to the fund can include donations of cash, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, coins, life insurance policies, land, buildings, or other capital assets. Contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by law. The Friends of the Crawford Park District, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation recognized by the Internal Revenue Service.
