Colonel Crawford Bikeway

Some of the Points of Interest along this Bikeroute are:

Lowe-Volk Park .....The park contains the junction of Allen Run and Paramour Creek to form the beginning of the Sandusky River as well as the capture site of Colonel Crawford in 1782.
Lowe-Volk Park Nature Center...... is a year round educational facility with live animals, bird observation area, and conference room.
Heckert Nature Preserve...... This park features 43 acres of forested wetland with over 200 species of native plants and many amphibians.
J & M Trading Post.....This building is the original general store built by Rev. Robert Lee, the founder of Leesville in 1829. It is located along old U.S. 30, at the intersection with St. Rt. 598. U.S. 30 was originally called the Lincoln Highway.
Amick & Ammon Reservoirs.....These Galion reservoirs (51 and 158 acres in size) offer picnic shelters. The reservoirs are also a well known birdwatching area.
South Park.....This Galion City Park is 3.83 acres in size and has a picnic shelter.
Heise Park.....This Galion City Park has picnic shelters, trails, and an authentic log cabin.
Kelly Park.....This Crestline Park features handicap-accessible picnic tables, and playground equipment .
Colonel Crawford Monument.....This monument was set up by the Crestline Kiwanis Club in 1927 to recognize the area in which Colonel Crawford was captured by Native Americans in 1782.
